Eric

Great job on the work for moving three nursing stations this past weekend.  I am told it was trouble-free.  From all at TFC and our customers, many many thanks.  70 patient rooms, 3 nursing stations, offices, etc.  That was a lot of work!

Well done.

Best Regards,

Sorry!!!  After working for 11.5 hours on a Saturday and you leave out the most important person on the go live….   I greatly appreciate your work on a Saturday!  Hands down this was the smoothest go live that I have ever been a part of and one of the largest.  You helped make this as seamless as possible like always.  Thank you!

I was walking to the garage at 6:30pm and realized they sent out a great job email to everyone in IT leadership.

Thanks,

Good Afternoon,

The amazing teams across BJH’s patient care, transport, facilities, housekeeping, public safety, food & nutrition, and pharmacy departments with the support of BJC SupplyPlus, IT, TFC, Clinical Asset Management, Clinical Engineering and PD&C completed another safe, quick and efficient unit relocation today.  This morning, 22 patients from 9100 were moved to their new home on 10200 as part of the decanting work for Queeny Tower in just 70 minutes.

The 9th floor of Queeny Tower will now be restricted as it is prepared for abatement and demolition.  Access via the QT elevators, stairwell doors and the connection to Rand Johnson are closed.

Thank you to the teams who continue to do amazing work planning, coordinating and executing the unit moves and openings to decant Queeny Tower!

Thank you,

Lindsay

Subject: 2/17 BJH Medicine Units Move Summary

All,

A giant THANK YOU to everyone who prepared for and came in to support the movement of FOUR units today from BJH South into Shoenberg!  There are so many groups who put in tons of time including Nursing, Therapy Services, Pharmacy, the COC team, Patient Transport, Security, EVS, Facilities, IT, Clinical Engineering/CAM, SupplyPlus, Food & Nutrition, PD&C and our vendor partners from Quality Install, Primary Systems and Phillips.

Summary stats for today’s move:

10100  7900: total patients moved - 16

  • Started moving patients: 9:15am

  • Finished moving patients: 11am

10200  7900: total patients moved - 13

  • Started moving patients: 11:15am

  • Finished moving patients: 1:45pm

13100  8900: total patients moved - 10

  • Started moving patients: 2:15pm

  • Finished moving patients: 2:45pm

    • This is not a typo – transport & nursing knocked this move out in less than 30 minutes!  Rock stars!

6300 PPCU  89 PPCU: total patients moved - 9

  • Started moving patients: 3:15pm

  • Finished moving patients: 4:30pm

PD&C, CAM and IT will remain on-site through shift change to ensure that all of the evening staff can log into all systems and are comfortable with their new space.

Please note that the QT elevators are now in restricted access mode for the groups responsible for salvage work on 14100, 13100 and 10100 (14100 is not a patient division, but is empty and locked as of this weekend); all other floors do not require a badge swipe to access them.

Work on 10200 for recabling and nurse call replacement will begin no later than next Monday, 2/25, although we are working to secure the space sooner.  If we are able to secure the floor / make it a construction zone, we will communicate that as soon as a date is known.

The updated move schedule showing Phase 1 as complete is attached; all dates for Phase 2 move are also confirmed.

Thank you again to everyone for your hard work, dedication & support!

Lindsay

Eric,

You deserve it.  I have struggled this year.  I probably have too many employees but I am not ready to split people up… I know it will eventually happen but I want it to be done logically. I would not be able to handle this many employees if some of you did not manage yourselves.  As I reflected back on last year, there were only a few of you that worked autonomously and felt like you deserved to be recognized.

Thank you for all of your help,

Janis

Good morning Janis,

I want to thank you for the Reward Card!!  What a surprise when I opened that folder on my desk this morning.  I was not expecting that.  You are so kind and thoughtful...and I greatly appreciate everything you do for me and for everyone else in our group.  2016 was a busy year and it looks like 2017 will be just as busy.  But, I think we will be alright☺

Thanks again for being the greatest Manager at BJC!!

He did, but you went one more step and wrapped it up in a nice package without asking me any questions or to do anything.  It is a nice change for once.  Thanks!!!!!
